Before we begin chatting about events this week, we have to give a HUGE shoutout to the men and women who took to the streets this past Friday for the grève féministe. Over 40,000 of us here in Lausanne wore purple, held signs, and shouted and marched in solidarity to bring awareness to the issue of inequality here in Switzerland. We were beyond moved by the experience. If you’d like to take a look at some incredible photographs or re-live the strike, head to our friend Gabriel’s Instagram page (and check out his story highlights from Friday). Now onto this week events!
