We honestly could not have imagined a more perfect afternoon–the beer, the meat, the cheese, the fish, the people! On Saturday afternoon we hosted a collaborative Craft Beer Workshop featuring brews from La Nébuleuse at one of our favorite neighborhood bars, TA CAVE. The house was packed with beer enthusiasts and we spent the afternoon sampling various beer and learning about the brewing process as well as how to pair beer with a variety of foods. We even had a surprise addition to our menu from the fine people of La Mer en Boîte, a local bar à poisson who are taking the canned fish market by storm and adding the gourmet touch (seriously, de.li.cious).

We learned a lot from Jeremy about craft beer, and are excited to start thinking about beer like we do wine–in fact, we plan to cook several dinners this week with beer pairings in mind! We were especially thrilled to sample their newest white beer “Überweiss” (that didn’t even have a label yet!), which will be perfect for summer grilling.
