Well you guys, it’s definitely not summer anymore. We went on a hike last weekend and actually wore a feather-filled jacket…and we didn’t hate it. There’s something so lovely about these crisp autumn days/evenings, especially when you pair it with the smell of wood fire and a nice glass of red 😉 Here’s what’s going down this week in Lausanne–we hope to see you at some of these events, and if you see us, come say hey!

We’ll definitely be at Taco Tuesday (every Tuesday if you can’t make this one) at The Lacustre this week because #deepfriedavocado.

Did you hear the news? Blackbird Downtown Diner will be open evenings starting this Thursday where they will be serving fried chicken, burgers, curries, salads etc. with craft beers and cocktails!

Médoc is one of our favorite wine regions, which is why we’re super stoked about the tasting happening this Thursday at the Beau Rivage.

Also this Thursday The Lacustre is hosting a White Party where you come dressed in your best all-white outfit.

Anyone in your family into Legos? Then you’ve got to check out the Léman Briqu-Expo 2017 this weekend in Morges.

Do you lake to dance? Then head over to Jetée de la Compagnie this Saturday for a little boogie.

Starting Saturday afternoon and ending in the wee hours of Sunday morning will be the 2nd edition of the PyraMove Swing & Electro dance party at the Pyramids in Vidy.

Karaoke this Saturday at La Galicienne.

La Nébuleuse will be opening their taproom in Renens this Saturday–and guess what? They’ll be offering a shuttle to and from Lausanne so you can drink ALL THE BEER 😉

The Red Bull Soapbox race is happening this Sunday down in Ouchy at 9am–that’s right, self-made soapboxes racing at top speeds…should be entertaining!

Is there an event that people need to know about? Send us an email at hello@thelausanneguide.com!

Hey guys, where was this foto taken / where did you go for a hike last weekend? I’m looking for a nice but not too exhausting hike for this weekend. Do you have any recommendations? I was thinking about Gruyères?
    Thanks in Advance!

    • Hey! This hike was at Dent de Jaman in Roches de Naye. Gorgeous hike with rewarding views–though if it’s rainy I don’t think it’s worth it. Grueyeres is nice as well as moleson!
