What a weekend! We had the great pleasure of attending a free and paying concert at the Cully Classique festival. We started Lakeside with a folk classical concert while enjoying a picnic of great food and wine and then moved indoors for a romantic, candlelit nocturne at 10:30pm. The festival is on all week and we highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxing way to enjoy the beautiful weather. It’s great for kids too! Despite the elegant music and setting, the ambiance remains laid back and friendly.

If classical music isn’t your thing, check out what else is on in Lausanne this week…

We are embarrassed to say that we still haven’t reviewed this adorable boutique (and it’s been on our list), but we ogle every time we pass its window. Stop by Fricote this Saturday to celebrate their 2nd birthday and do a bit of shopping while you’re at it.

Free music concerts on Lutry’s port tonight and tomorrow night.

Rooftop day Lausanne is this Saturday!

This year marks the 100th anniversary for the IOC, so various activities to celebrate the Centenaire will be happening this whole weekend. Check out the list of events here.

Have a wonderful week, Lausanne!
