We met Jackie less than a year ago and thought to ourselves, ‘where have you been all our lives?!’ She’s a brilliant conversationalist, can put together a stunning outfit for any occasion, a perfect hostess (who will never allow your wine glass to fall below half-empty), a fiercely loyal friend, and is just plain fun to be around.

We had the pleasure of being invited to a few of Jackie’s infamous parties, and that’s when we knew we had to have her on our team. Her ability to organize and execute fabulously fun events while keeping things stress-free and light (while wearing stilettos) is no easy feat. She’s just a sticky person; someone who attracts people and makes those people want to stay.
So it is with great pleasure that we welcome Jackie to our Lausanne Guide team as our Event Coordinator and Public Relations Guru! We are excited for all of the new things we have planned for LG readers as we join forces with this lovely lady.
Here’s a little glimpse into the wonderful world of Jackie:

Book you are currently reading:
I’m currently in-between books.  I just finished The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah about the incredible role women played during WWII in occupied France, and now I’m starting the new book by Kazuo Ishiguro called The Buried Giant.

Your woman crush:
My real life woman crush is Dr. Jocelyne Bloch who is a neurosurgeon at the CHUV.  Not only is she extremely intelligent, she masterfully juggles a career and family while having the most style I have ever seen!  My celebrity woman crush is definitely Olivia Palermo- I want everything in her closet!

Favorite spot in Lausanne:
The Palace!  I know it’s not very original, but I love The Havana Bar, the Brasserie and listening to live music at LP’s.  There is something a bit old world about it that takes you away for the night.  When in doubt, it’s my go to place!  My second favorite place is Les Arches in the summer- I love to order a glass of wine with friends and do some serious people watching.

Your default holiday:
It’s a toss up between Tuscany and Mykonos.  We try to go every year to both places.  You can’t beat the food, wine, landscape and generous people in Italy.  Mykonos is a tiny piece of heaven which seems to be the only place on earth I can get my husband to stop working!

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
Definitely teleportation.  That way I could get home to see loved ones in a blink and not spend another second on an airplane!
