We are delighted to introduce another fantastic new sponsor of The Lausanne Guide this week – The Dubner Moderne Art Gallery. Located on the 4th floor of the Rue du Grand-Chêne 6 (just across the street from the Palace Hotel), this sober and well-appointed space with its sweeping views of the old city of Lausanne serves to connect our small Swiss town to the wider art world with a series of contemporary exhibitions from across the globe.

The man behind the gallery is Vernon Dubner, a New York City native and EHL graduate with the passion, flair and undeniably good taste necessary to advise interested clients or simply educate curious art lovers. We’ve been toying with the idea of investing in “real art” for a couple of years, and when we are ready to do so, Vernon will be one of the first people we talk to!

We’ve said that we only will accept sponsors that we truly believe will provide interesting content and tips to our readers, we honestly couldn’t be more delighted to welcome the Dubner Moderne!

Visit the gallery for its upcoming exhibition opening event on Thursday, March 19 with Artists Isca Greenfield-Sanders and Sebastian Blanck

We hope that our collaboration with this fabulous gallery will create a connection with those of our readers interested in understanding and experiencing contemporary art – and if you stop by to meet Vernon, please tell him we say hello ;).

  1. The older I get, the more I enjoy galleries. Not that I have a clue what I see there, but I can decide quickly I like, I don't like.
One day soon I will take the plunge and invest into a timeless art piece.
