A freshly baked breakfast in our neighboring boulangerie Bidlingmeyer in Chexbres; an enormous selection of sweet and savory treats, topped off with freshly squeezed orange juice, the ritual renversé and a view that will rise the heaviest of morning eyelids.
An afternoon perusing Howard Greenberg’s personal photography collection at the Musée Elysée (for free!); one of the most impressive exhibits showcasing such iconic photographs–from inspiring photographs of Martin Luther King Jr. to controversial executions of political prisoners to the famous ‘Lunch atop a Skyscraper’.
A lunch among the crowds of the Saturday market in Lausanne; our favorite afternoon indulgence of home-made Chilean empanadas from Creación del Tata’s stand (right across from Zara), then moseying up, empanada in-hand, to Docteur Gab’s where we chatted, tasted, and walked away with new brews and happy stomachs.
A night out with dear amis, soaking in the energy of our great city; drinks and food and promises to not wait so long before our next rendez-vous.
What about you? What are your weekend rituals?
